Foggy path

Why is the path so foggy?

I know where I want to go

let me go there

don't lose me on the foggy path

Rich man clears the fog

only for himself...greedy bastard

poor man stumbles

lost, when he knows where to go

I need a fog light to guide me

A light I had once

but only brief

like a strobe light

quick and unsettling

making me realise where I really am

nothing but a poor man on a foggy path
