Self-published Fiction, Poetry

Before I started writing short stories with the aim of having them published in magazines, I wrote a few short stories and poems between 2004 and 2005 which I've published here on my website and can be found below. Also included is the adaptation of Stephen King's The Green Mile as a monologue that I did for my Year 12 HSC Drama Exam.

I occasionally publish flash fiction (stories under 1,000 words) on my blog and can be found under the category, 'Published Work.'

These stories are available for reprint upon contacting me at benjamin [at] benjaminsolah [dot] com.

"Men who have created new fruits in the world cannot create a system whereby their fruits may be eaten. And the failure hangs over the State like a great sorrow . . . . and in the eyes of the people there is the failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath. In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage." - The Grapes of Wrath, John Steinbeck
