Take a stand against the war!
A few hundred protesters turned out at Town Hall today in Sydney to mark the fourth anniversary of the invasion and occupation of Iraq. We also called for freedom for David Hicks and most, I think, saw the need to oppose other wars around the world and Howard’s attacks from other fronts.

So true. So sad, but so true…
My little family participates in the anti war movement, but sadly I think that most of the people I meet are largely misinformed about the war. People really think that we’re in Iraq because we care about the country and any other explanation comes across as a leftist conspiracy theory. I don’t know where people’s heads are… and I feel horrible about what is happening.
Sorry, mama, I have to disagree with you. The majority of people are against the war, and although a lot of people are swayed by the argument that Bush is motivated to do good, I think that tide is changing.
The problem with the small number of protesters is the lack of activists building demonstrations as opposed to just turning up on the day.
We had a similar protest in Melbourne. Good to see people protesting about something worthwhile instead of watching Big Brother.
