Back in 2010
We’re six days into 2010 and I feel like I’ve taken too long to write this post and get back to blogging in the new year. I hope I haven’t gone stale or people haven’t abandoned me.
I’ve just returned from ten days in Sydney and before going back to work on Monday, I will have spent more than two weeks away from work which I think is the longest break from work I’ve had since I started working in 2006 and was sorely needed.
I’m dreading going back to work and hope to sort out the employment situation this year which has been the main source of stress and is often the only thing stopping me from thinking things are as perfect as they can be living under capitalism. Ironic isn’t it?
I’ve got some important posts planned in the next few days and hope to get to them.
Coming up on BenjaminSolah.com:
- The latest 365 Photo Challenge photos from the 27th December to now.
- A review of the anti-imperialist 3D action movie, Avatar
- Looking back at the blog in 2009 and an outlook for what’s in store for this blog in 2010
- The results of my December writing goals and new writing goals for 2010 and January
Be sure to check back over the next couple of days as I try to get back into the swing of blogging.

Everybody keeps telling me I should go see Avatar.
John Pender´s last blog ..Microsoft One Note
Welcome back, Benjamin! I’ve been checking your blog every couple of days.:-)
Looking forward to your review of Avatar. I loved it so much I saw it twice- with the same friend!
Carol´s last blog ..Whimsical Wednesday
New computer and only just catching up with the blogs I actually read.
Surely Benjamin isn’t attacking that paragon of U.S film maing Jimmy C. At least it’s doing better than that other awesome Boredwood flick “New Moon” *shudders*.
Just to give people nightmares, “Avatar” should become the highest ever grossing movie at the Australian Box Office over night, beating out Jimmy C’s “Titanic”.
Clearly Aussies would rather go see cookie cutter yank flicks than the home grown variety, which is a shame. For anyone wanting something decent “Lake Mungo” is out on DVD and definitely worth catching up with (if you don’t mind mockumentaries).
Welcome back Benjamin, severly missed mate.
