365: Day 50
Day 50: Received Issue #78 of Voiceworks in the mail today. Full of writing from writers under 25. Hopefully I’ll be published in there one day as I’ve already submitted something.

How awesome there is a journal specifically for young voices. It would be good to have a journal specifically for emerging writers (is that what the journal from the Emerging Writer’s Festival is?) Just because us oldies are over the age of 25 doesn’t mean we have actual runs up on the board.
I’m hoping to get a couple of journals for birthday and christmas presents. Part of my professional development for next year.
The Emerging Writers’ Journal is for Emerging Writers but not necessarily written by emerging writers. Though, the Lifted Brow is a journal that’s really looking for and supporting unpublished writers. You should really check them out.
