My name's Benjamin Solah; I'm a horror writer and Marxist revolutionary living in Melbourne, Australia. I work full-time in an office but prefer to focus my attention on writing and politics. I write horror stories with a political edge - I like to portray capitalism as brutal and unjust. If you’ve seen me on Facebook or Twitter today, it’ll come as no surprise what photo this was going to be. I present to you my beautiful new MacBook Pro. Bought it after lunch and spent the whole afternoon at my desk playing with it.
This is also the first photo uploaded through iPhoto which is a pretty cool program.

Congratulations Ben. You can tell us all about the experience of shifting from PC to Mac.
The first Mac I ever saw was in the early 80′s and played very basic games – green cursor on a black screen. I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen or played.

Congratulations on the Mac. I seriously thought about getting one when I was buying my laptop, but ended up not getting it as it didn’t support the family tree program I use.
