Harmony Walk
Not sure how I can predict how many were at the Harmony Walk today through Melbourne to “reaffirm Melbourne’s multiculturalism.” I think it would have been in the thousands and perhaps close to 10,000. It was a massive turn out where it was hard to see where it started and where it ended.
These kinds of events put the ugly racists on the back foot but it was mostly a media stunt by the Labor government. Labor politicians, Police and even the party of racism, the Liberals were speaking at the rally but appallingly, the Federation of Indian students was denied the right to speak.
But it was good to see so many ordinary people turn up to stand against racism.
